Sara Evans is a director and editor based in Baltimore. She graduated from Northwestern University with a major in Radio/TV/Film and started out in the industry as a Production Assistant for MSNBC during the Democratic National Convention. Daily Planet has been her storytelling home for over twenty years. As our East Coast-based editor and director, she directs and edits video content for a wide variety of platforms from broadcast to web content. In 2015, Sara won an Emmy for her work directing and editing the scoreboard video, “Hit the Ice,” for the Chicago Blackhawks. Sara particularly enjoys the rigors of working on longer-format pieces such as documentary films.
